My name is Josh McCarron, I started Breakdancing 4 years ago at Sussex University. There was a course on at the uni gym and I started to go each week, after about a month it became pretty clear that it wasnt going to be enough. So i set up the University of Sussex Breakdancing Society in order to meet other people who shared my passion. The Society went from strength to strength and by the end of our 2nd year we had merged to become the University of Sussex Street and Breakdancing Society and had won the British University Dance Awards.
Along side my University team I was also one of the founders of Vicious Circle
a brighton based Breakdancing crew. For the most part we trained with Floor Crusaders
- one of the best crews in the UK - but also learnt a lot from each other. Vicious
Circle have been around for 3 years, in that time we have performed, battled,
and taught all over the UK and parts of Europe.
Now living in Kingston, with nowhere to continue Breaking, I have taken it upon
myself to set up UKbboy.co.uk to promote and teach what I love. I hope to train
with and teach anyone that shares my passion and am more than willing to help
out any new or aspiring Crews/Bboys. Either by providing somewhere to train or
by giving them the benefit of my experience.
